I started my journey from Bhatinda, a city in Punjab. It was my first tour to Himalayan range. I was alone. I collected all necessary information in Google search only. I boarded a Volvo bus for Chandigarh. From sector-17, Chandigarh I boarded a state transport bus of Himachal Pradesh. This journey was so much adventurous for me that I remember of Tin Tin comic hero. I boarded the bus around 2 pm. As soon as I entered Himachal Pradesh, I started getting excitement because of roadside views of surrounding scenes of hills. Mandi, I got to see beautiful view of night here because of lights which were looking like stars in the top hills all around. The journey is still far away and it's already night in Mandi. As we were approaching destination, all passengers getting down . I was little scared because there were only few passengers left. After Kullu, there were only 3 foreign couples, myself,driver & conductor. I slept because of long journey. Finally we reached Manali bus stand at midnight. Conductor was making awake to all passengers. Unfortunately, it was dark all around as electricity was cut down by that time and I found myself in Hell. However, after coming out from bus, there were guys talking to me but I couldn't understand their language, so I told them to speak in Hindi or English. Then, they started asking if I need rooms. I said yes......I followed him to hotel. Rate was as cheap as Rs 500 only but room was fantastic. Here, I would like to advise future travelers to make ur plan accordingly and make sure u reach Manali well in day time. Then, I saw my fellow foreign passengers were also following me to that hotel. I asked one- Excuse me, what is ur native nation?, Yugoslavia, he replied. Then, I went for sleep. After a sound sleep, I woke up and went out of my room without taking any breakfast to find share taxi for rohtaang pass. As soon as I came to the main road or The MALL ROAD, it was very nice view and my heart beats were too high because of sweet climate N sceneries. I was listening the song: Bas ek Tammanna hai : One local tea boy helped me find local taxi(shared) & I made it to Rohtaang pass. Wonderful view all the way, weather was very bad but still I managed to enjoy . I found both green and red apples plants, taken snaps on the way. On 2nd day, visited Solang valley,where sports like snow bike, para gliding, etc were available. I wanted to board rope way but changed mind later. Solang valley is really very beautiful.
